THE GREEK NEW TESTAMENT - FOURTH REVISED EDITION. After the Third Edition of the United Bible Societies' Greek New Testament was issued, realizing a common single text for both GNT and the 26th edition of the Novum Testamentum Graece (Nestle-Aland), the Committee made plans for a thorough revision of the GNT apparatus in all of its aspects. The familiar established format of the edition was never basically questioned, but its reliability, clarity, and the accuracy of its information required improvement in order to meet the needs of its many users.
